I take pride in being a passionate perfectionist, creating a balance of classic and edgy looks on the evolving art form of hair. I love being behind the chair creating individualized cuts and colors for each of my guests. I enjoy making people look and feel their best while developing the special relationship involved. Ryan Claudon, Stylist
Ryan's career in the hair industry began in Seattle as a manager of a barbershop, "I truly knew very little about hair until I worked at Rudys barbershop. There I learned the power hair holds on a person and that each stylist has the ability to transform how a client would think and feel about themselves. The idea that something as simple as a great cut could make someone feel so positive and attractive...that's what really drew me to the industry." From there, Ryan began his training at a Sassoon academy where he learned the Sassoon method of precision haircuts and color applications. After he graduated from the academy, he completed a year and a half long intensive training program, where he learned the many aspects needed to be an excellent cut and colorist.
"I knew that for me school was not enough...that in order to achieve the level of expertise I wanted, I had to do more training. I learned from some of the best and studied all sorts of different subjects; from something simple as how to do a proper blow dry style to more complex issues like color theory and Avant-garde cutting."
Ryan has been in the industry delivering excellent customer service for close to 8 years. "As cheesy as this might sound a quote that has really stuck with me throughout my career is from Vidal Sassoon:
"If you don't look good we don't look good"
Although it was an advertising gimmick it still thoroughly encompasses what a passionate stylist feels. All of my clients are walking billboards of my work. I want the work to be just as perfect as they expect."
